This album is the amalgamation of around 2 years of work, and one of my releases which I'm very proud of.

I started working on the first track, Altitude in 2015 when I was making my return to performing live after 2 years of not performing any solo shows. This started out as some further exploration of bass, looping and ebow, but then developed into the fully formed piece which you can hear today. This was really interesting to do as I had just finished my album LOCAT(I)ON (timothy-garrett.bandcamp.com/album/locat-i-on), so it was as if I was re-discovering this instrument from scratch. The name for this track was given to me by my good friend Ben Mifsud Joslin of Eyes to Argus (eyestoargus.bandcamp.com).

I started working on the second track, The House in the Smoke, shortly after I returned from from a trip to Italy. This track is an aural representation of the ascension and descent of one the many beautiful mountains that I went through. This track has also seen many formations since it's inception and reached it's final form sometime in early 2017.
