The first two tracks found on this compilation are taken from the initial sessions of Leçons Clinique that ultimately didn't make the cut. The latter two are then taken from separate sessions which came after Leçons Clinique.
Une Leçon Clinique à la Salpêtrière was one of the first improvisational tracks I made when I was first learning how to use the Ableton generative loop I then ended up using on the rest of Leçons Clinique.
Crystal Skull also originated from the Leçons Clinique sessions and was made by combining a generative track I had made with a home recording of my first time using an e-bow on bass.
They Killed All My Men was originally composed and programmed for an information visualisation assignment which I had for one of my study units at the University of Malta. However I felt that it fit nicely into this compilation as well.
The alternative version of Tone Variator was recorded during one of my practice sessions for my performance at Sequenchill & Friends last summer. I used a warped sample from a short promotional video I had released for a prior gig with Huh? (aka Jimmy Bartolo) earlier that year.
